I love the view from my
backyard. I love the fact that when I want I can take a hike up the mountains with
my brother Ethan. It?s nice to have the Saguaro national park right in your backyard.

It took my Dad a very long time to find an area that he liked enough to built his house.
I love to sit on the porch and watch as the sun rises and as the sun sets. On cool
Summer nights I enjoy sitting on the porch and looking at the stars.

During the monsoon season the lighting storms that come through are breath taking. Its not very often when we get a lot of rain and when we do get a really good rainstorm it is wonderful. I love the way the desert blooms after it rains and the way it smells, I can?t wait to see a rainstorm roll through Tucson again.
Here I was able to
catch a flash of lighting during a thunderstorm. I love to watch the sky as
it changes colors during a rainstorm. Listening to the rain fall on the roof,
watching the sky light up with the lightning and hearing the roll of the thunder
is something that I miss very much. The last time I was home, I was fortunate enough
to catch a real good rainstorm. I think its so cool how the sky turned a purplish color
when the lightning strikes across the sky.
